Over 850 middle school students from District 49 attended the district’s second annual “College and Career Fair” on Nov. 15 in Colorado Springs. During the event, students had the opportunity to meet with 95 different vendors to discuss college and career pathways.
The event was part of the district’s “49 Pathways,” an individual career and academic plan, or ICAP. ICAP is a flexible, customized process by which all students are provided free valuable career and college preparation resources via College in Colorado and personal career and college advising.
