Washington D.C. Trip ~ Fall Break 2008

Mrs. Baun, a fifth grade teacher at Woodmen Hills Elementary School, is leading a trip to Washington D.C. during fall break of 2008.  She is inviting all of this year’s 4^th and 5^th grade students in district 49 to go on the trip.  So, if you have a friend that is in 4^th or 5^th grade at another elementary school in the district you’ll be able to go together.

It will be for 4 days and 3 nights.  We will fly out of the Colorado Springs airport.  The cost of the trip covers everything.  It is all inclusive.  It will cover the airplane ticket, hotel, tour admission prices and ALL meals.  They even set up a private breakfast buffet for our group each morning in the hotel.

We will tour all over Washington D.C. visiting the Washington Memorial, the Holocaust Museum, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, the Smithsonian, Arlington National Cemetery, and much more.

 Your parents can come along, but they must pay also.  You will room with 3 other friends (usually your choice).  And, yes, hand held games are allowed on the plane.

The cost is $1,495.00.  The cost can be slowly paid throughout the next year and we will be doing some fundraising, also.
