Accountability Advisory Committee

What is
the BAAC?
The Building Accountability
Advisory Committee represents the school communities' point of view and
makes recommendations to the building principal for school improvement.
With input from the school administration, teachers, and BAAC members,
information is compiled which can then be used to develop School Improvement
Plans.

a potential public relations
firm.
a group that makes suggestions to the Board of Education regarding budget
expenditures.
a group to review the school report card and make suggestions as to how
to improve the
school rating.
an advisory committee.
a group to advise regarding school improvement plans.
a group to advise regarding student achievement.
a group that works with the school administration to improve efficiency
and effectiveness.

Goals of
BAAC
Facilitate communication between the
school and community. Discuss issues of curriculum, budget, growth, safety, wellness and
communication. Discuss all major school issues. Report to the DAAC and Board of Education.

students, parents, teachers, administrators and community members.

the WHES Library. Our meeting dates for the 2007-2008 school year
