At – A – Glance Maps
At – A – Glance maps are used at Skyview to promote the curriculum. The attached maps were designed by teachers in the district to guide instruction in the classroom. They include: Suggested topics to address by quarter and benchmarks to address for each content standard. Teachers are also provided with Enduring Understandings; Big Ideas, and Essential questions; what questions will foster inquiry, understanding, and transfer of learning knowledge.
The At-A-Glance maps are a working document and as we work on 21st century skills in all areas, they could change. This allows staff to differentiate in the classroom and meet student needs.
