Teachers and Students,
You can now access our new web based library
catalog DESTINY
from home! Not only can you look at what we
have, you can place a hold on books and create a
list of books you want to use in your
classroom. You can also make a bibliography
MLA Style. We are very excited about the new
electronic catalog. To access the website from
home or from Sand Creek, go to internet explorer
and type in
http://lib.d49.org. Included on the
home page, you will see resources in the
Literary Reference
Center which is easily accessible.

ATTENTION STUDENTS
Having trouble opening your files?
Try this:
1.
Do the following in these 2007 Microsoft Office
system programs: Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
2.
On the File Menu, click Save As.
3.
In the File Name box, enter a new name
for the file.
4.
In the Save As Type list, click the file
format that you want to save the file in. (word
97-2003 will ensure nearly all computers can
open it)
5.
Click Save!
FROM THE LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER
Please remember that students
MUST
have their ID to enter the LMC. In addition,
teachers must
send a pass with all students coming to the LMC
that includes student teacher aides.
Free Periods:
Students need to remain in the library for their
entire free period once they have signed in.
Lunch:
If students need to use the library during
lunch, they
MUST stay in the library the
entire time. Students need to eat before
checking into the library during their lunch.
Student Announcement
During lunch hours for both freshmen and sophomores the ONLY areas
you are allowed to go are the commons and the
patio. All other areas on school grounds are
off limits during lunch hours.

It is Library space just for Teens. A place for
Teens to get together and:
