School Advisory Committee

• The Evans Elementary SAC is a group of parents, school staff and community members, that meet throughout the school year to gather information, receive reports, provide advice and make recommendations to the principal about the prioritization of school expenditures, areas of study and school safety.  The committee will advocate in the best interest of the school and facilitate communication and positive working relations between the school administration and the school community.

• SAC meets the second Tuesday of every month directly following the PTO meeting at approximately 5:30.
   

• We are currently focusing on educating the community and SAC members about the different parts of the IB curriculum.

• The current officers are as follows: Chairperson-Dennis Richer, Vice Chairperson-Janet Griffth, Principal-Amber Whetstine, Secretary-Fawn Copeland, Debbie Hoehn, Sheila Hudson, and Bonnie Adam.
