**Our Box Tops for Education contest raised $927.20 for the library. IB Mission

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment.

These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

Parent Communication

During the weeks of January 25^th and February 1^st, third through ninth graders in the Sand Creek High School feeder system will be asked to participate in a survey aimed to gather input from students. The survey will help to determine current student perceptions about school culture and learning environments in our district. Students will be asked to comment on how they feel about academic and social aspects of school to help the district better meet their individual needs. Individual student responses will remain confidential, however, collected data will be analyzed by school district personnel in an effort to improve student achievement and school culture for all students.
