Purpose: The board members are dedicated to providing leadership and
direction in cooperation with the community, schools and
governing officials to meet the District's Mission.
Process: The Board of Education generally meets the first Thursday of every
month. The meetings are designed for both strategic long-term
planning, as well as a forum for presenting pertinent current events
impacting the children, parents and communities within the
District. Meetings are open to the public.
Members also serve on other District Committees to assist with the
functional administrative areas of school management. By
integrating their attendance across the broad areas involved; from
curriculum to facilities; they keep abreast of relevant items that must
be coordinated to assure the District meets its short-term and
long-term goals.
